I have many happy memories of blackberry picking. This design celebrates the voracious, thorny plant rather than the fruits, inspired by the way they take over in countryside and urban areas alike.  I love the bramble-filled garden of my downstairs neighbour, which provides a home for a colony of dunnocks, and a family of foxes.
